Description from the seller
Under One Shower by Off Axis – Artist's Proof (EA), XL on canvas
Proximity sometimes reveals what words cannot say.
Three silhouettes stand side by side under a shared shower. No faces, no exchanged gaze, only bodies bathed in light and water, gathered in a scene of everyday life that suddenly becomes a composition of striking graphic intensity.
Under One Shower momentarily twists an ordinary occurrence into a reflection on trust, vulnerability, and human connections. The work seeks neither provocation nor explanation: it simply invites the viewer to observe a suspended moment, where simplicity becomes deeply universal.
Between contemporary realism and figurative painting, this creation celebrates the beauty of ordinary gestures and the discreet poetry of shared instants.

Artwork details:
• Title: Under One Shower
• Format: XL – 46 × 66 cm

• Edition: Artist's Proof (EA), part of a limited edition of 6 copies

⸻
Artistic and technical approach:
The work rests on a deliberately frontal composition where the three silhouettes, viewed from behind, create a perfectly balanced visual rhythm. The red, green, and blue shorts introduce a chromatic punctuation that contrasts with the cool tones of the tiles and steel, adding a discreet dynamic to the whole.
Light reflects off the water and the wet surfaces, revealing muscular volumes, skin textures, and the traces left by droplets on the walls. The vertical plumbing lines structure the scene while the repetition of tiles reinforces the impression of sobriety and realism.
Every detail was designed to transform a daily scene into a contemporary work where composition, light, and human presence dialogue naturally, offering an image that is elegant, contemplative, and open to multiple interpretations.
⸻
Presentation and delivery:
• Premium canvas print
• Work sold unframed, without stretcher
