L'Aristippe, first published in 1658, is a philosophical and didactic work that, reflecting on the virtues and vices of courtiers, blends philosophical discourse and practical advice inspired by the teachings of the Greek philosopher Aristippus to offer a useful guide for navigating the complexities of power, while maintaining personal integrity and ethical principles.
