Description from the seller
6 bottles of Château La FORTUNE 2015 from Margaux.
Château La Fortune Margaux Rouge is a first-class red wine.
It presents a magnificent, bright purple color.
After swirling the glass, one perceives a perfect balance in this red wine, as it is neither watery, nor syrupy, nor liqueur-sweet on the sides of the glass. The first nose of Margaux Rouge is flattering, with notes of prune Muscat and blueberry.
In addition to the fruity components of the bouquet, there are notes of barrel aging, such as even more fruity and balsamic nuances.
On the palate, the Margaux Rouge from Château La Fortune opens with a deliciously dry, vibrant and aromatic wine.
On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly fleshy texture.
In the finish, this youthful red from the Bordeaux wine region excites with its exceptional length.
We again find notes of wild berry jam and plum puree.
The Vinification of the Margaux Rouge from Château La Fortune
The balanced Margaux Rouge from France is a cuvée vinified from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The grapes of this French red wine are harvested exclusively by hand, at their optimal ripeness.
After harvest, the grapes reach the press by the quickest route.
There they are selected and gently crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and in small oak casks at controlled temperatures.
Once fermentation is complete, the Margaux Rouge is aged for a few more months in French oak barrels.
