The work personally executed by the artist includes graphic design, adapting the image to the sculpture’s shape, precise vinyl cutting, as well as the positioning and manual application of each element.
Each copy of this edition is individually customized and hand-finished by the artist Pope.
The limited edition applies exclusively to the graphic customization and artistic finish carried out by the artist Pope, and not to the commercially manufactured base luminous sculpture.
Edition of artistic customization and finish: 25/37 — 2025.
Who is Pope?
Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice of visual arts since childhood, a high standard of detail and meticulous visual research.
Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wondrous gaze, attentive to both the simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.
Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from movements of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
Whether for a gift, a keepsake or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will surely find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his urban art passion through street art (streetart) and pop art (popart) (in limited edition or not), tackling a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, silver, gold, wealth, the sex industry, the harms of drugs, luxury fashion brands and haute couture, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, and products of the agri-food and fashion industries (sport, sneakers...).
Brand names guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope enjoys playfully distorting labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others.
Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to assess the lot for sale is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description and photos... After the sale, no unfounded claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
