Description from the seller
Work by Mark Sugar from 2026 titled "Baby don't cry, Ancient sea" from the series "Small Children".
Unique piece
“Child don’t cry, Ancient sea” is a sculpture that blends fragility and myth. The gathered figure of the child, immersed in a deep blue and opaque black, seems to listen to an ancient sea: a place of memory, trial and transformation. The oxidized surface and the golden traces evoke the passage of time, like a stone polished by the waves. The work thus becomes a small human promontory, suspended between silence, resistance and destiny.
