Mold (2) Antique - Wooden speculaas boards

Very beautiful set of 2 antique hand-carved hardwood speculaas boards (also called koekplank) from the early part of the last century.
These kinds of boards were used in the past to press speculaas dough for making speculaas figures; nowadays they are widely used as folk art or for decoration.
The figures (a traditional bachelor and spinster) are relatively roughly and stylized carved with broader gouges. This is characteristic of folk art from the early 20th century.
Both molds have beautiful patina and are therefore in nice used condition.
