Meissen - Lidded vase - Porcelain

Rare and elegant Meissen porcelain egg-shaped box, of the so-called “Egg” form, with a domed lid and a rose-shaped knob.

The piece rests on three richly modelled rocaille feet and features abundant decoration of polychrome flowers applied in relief, accompanied by foliage and naturalistic details. The whole is highlighted with gilding, elegantly accentuating the rocaille elements.
