"I HOPE" – Bronze sculpture patinated black
Limited edition – Only 8 numbered pieces + 4 artist proofs
Artists: Francioni & Mastromarino | Studio: Pietrasanta, Tuscany (Italy)
"I HOPE" is more than a sculpture: it is a universal message of hope.
The female figure, nude and proud, crafted in black patinated bronze according to the ancient lost-wax casting technique, stands with strength and grace on our planet – the Earth, unique and fragile. The face is hidden by a mask: a symbolic gesture to represent all women, timeless and without fixed identity.
On the abdomen is inscribed #Ihope, a direct, strong message inviting belief in the power of dreams and regeneration.
The work is part of the Matrilineal collection, in which the maternal line, highlighted on the Earth’s surface, represents the invisible thread that unites generations, cultures and hopes.
The globe is not only a decorative element, but has been made with ecocompatible geomalta and recycled rice husk, innovative materials free of Portland cement and free of petroleum derivatives. The art, in this case, is also an ethical choice: what one believes in coincides with what one creates.
This sculpture is entirely handmade in the artists' studio in Pietrasanta – the Italian capital of sculpture – with no 3D printing. Each piece is unique, numbered and cared for in the smallest details.
