The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being returned individually to our collectors without any constraints. Shipping costs include all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and state the reason for the refusal on the delivery slip, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is damaged but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the top ten sculptors under 30 that year according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty leading contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, inspired by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later shifted to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl especially enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art Gallery at the Art Monaco show with his Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His solo exhibition in 2016 at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works before the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, weighing 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the new Bath Pavilion on the Michel d’Ornano Promenade, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group show Nicolas Auvray Gallery New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival, for which the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St. Regis One Dollar edition.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work "A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City".

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall bronze One Dollar was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First showing in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered in white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures depicting one-dollar bills are laid on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s largest debt.

2014: - Maserati unveils worldwide the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France hosted a dinner with the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated Cryptogram One in bronze to the city of Deauville, permanently at the city’s entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” made from a collage of photos recounting the festival’s highlights.
