Description from the seller
Victor Turban – Elegance at the Palace
Victor Turban is a French painter whose pictorial universe is distinguished by a highly coloristic approach, expressive brushwork and a generous use of texture. His work focuses on color, variations of light and atmosphere, whether in landscapes, scenes of everyday life or elegant contemporary compositions.
This work, entitled “Elegance at the Palace”, depicts three women in evening gowns walking through a richly decorated monumental interior. The large crystal chandeliers, mirrors, woodwork and tall openings create a spectacular sense of perspective, while the three female figures bring a particularly elegant presence to the composition.
The palette, dominated by reds, oranges, yellows and whites, contrasts with the cooler tones of the floor and architecture. The numerous reflections of light, together with the generous pictorial texture, give the scene considerable depth and enhance the refined and luminous atmosphere.
With its square format of 100 × 100 cm, this work has a strong and highly decorative presence. It illustrates an elegant and luminous facet of Victor Turban’s painting, where color, light, texture and movement come together in a striking composition.
Technique: oil on canvas.
Canvas mounted on a keyed stretcher frame.
Dimensions: 100 × 100 cm.
The artist's biography will be provided in French with the artwork upon shipment.
