Gaby Acevedo - Velora - Nemus (XL)

“Nemus” is a unique and original abstract artwork, entirely painted by hand. It is part of my series “Velora,” in which I explore the memory of landscapes and the sensations that endure over time. In this work I do not attempt to depict a concrete landscape, but to convey the impression that remains in us after having experienced it. I work with color and different layers of paint, letting the composition unfold intuitively so that each person can find their own interpretation.

• "Velora - Nemus" is a contemporary, unique and original abstract artwork, entirely handmade with professional acrylics on cotton canvas.

The canvas measures approximately 130 cm × 50 cm, including the margin required for its mounting on a 120 cm × 40 cm × 2 cm frame (approximately).

Presentation:

• The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To ensure secure transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube.
The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas retains the necessary margin for its mounting on a frame.

• The work does not include a frame or decorative border.

• For an optimal finish, it is recommended that mounting be carried out by a professional.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live in Spain and produce my works there. For over 25 years I have developed a practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language.
My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different investigation, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
Each work is unique and made entirely by hand in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
