The 2019 release of Macallan 30-year-old Sherry Oak, which must be the last version made entirely with 1980s whisky - funny to think that since 2020 they're into the 1990s distillates for these bottlings.

As ever, the Sherry Oak 30-year-old is the pinnacle of Macallan's core range, matured for a minimum of three decades in European oak casks seasoned for up to two years with dry Oloroso sherry in Jerez before receiving the Macallan spirit. Naturally, this whisky exists only in tiny quantities, so you'll need to be quick on this one.
