A 1900 Wilhelmi-stamped wood violin bow with a round pernambuco stick, about 74.4 cm long and 60 g, ebony frog with an eye and nickel mount, in excellent physical condition and tested to be working, with no extras.
Description from the seller
A fine old 4/4 violin bow made in appr. 1900. The bow is stamped "Wilhelmi" on stick. Most probably made for renowned violinist August WILHELMI (1845 -1908). Appr. 74,4 cm, 60 g. Round stick made of nicely figured pernambuco wood, golden brown color, and is powerful but elastic. The frog of ebony with an eye, the adjuster one piece. Nickel mounted. Very good condition with no cracks. The stick bent abit to left for better sound performance. The hair is old. The bow produces a very sweet and powerful tone.
