Medsan presents Gyarados Great Wave (ギャラドスと大波) — a unique 1/1 giclée on canvas, 40 × 40 cm, signed, produced in France in 2026.
Description from the seller
THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1
In this square format, Medsan conjures Gyarados, the sea-serpent Pokémon from the first generation, rising in the middle of a raging sea. Its blue, scaled body coils above the waves, cream belly, white fins spread, mouth wide open with fangs and a pink tongue, its red eye fixed straight ahead. Its barbels float in the air, its tail plunging to the right into a wave. Behind it, a red disk occupies the upper sky and the snow-capped Mount Fuji closes the horizon, while pink petals drift among the clouds.
At the bottom, two wooden boats caught in the foam carry an orange Magikarp with a yellow crown, mouth open, stranded across the gunwale, with a red and white Poké Ball placed near the net. The deep blue of the swells, the cream of the paper, and these two red touches hold the entire palette. In the top left the cartouche ギャラドス, in the top right 龍の逆鱗, in the bottom right the cartouche メドサン.
A marine and spectacular piece, ideal to bring a Japanese, graphic touch to an interior of a collector attached to Pokémon culture.

About the Studio:
Atelier Joconde is a collective of artists united around a living, plural contemporary creation. Established as a true artistic production space, the studio operates both in collective creation and in individual approaches, depending on the projects and works. Atelier Joconde is also a family venture. Le Yack, a contemporary figurative painter, develops a narrative and introspective body of work with cinematic and realistic influences. By his side, Medsan, oriented toward pop art painting, explores color, modern iconography, and visual culture. Finally, Neo Pablo pursues a more instinctive search, blending abstract art, brut art, and figurative abstraction. Each work is conceived, realized and followed within the studio, with a shared artistic standard and an identity of its own for each artist.
Keywords:
Medsan, Atelier Joconde, Le Yack, Gyarados, Magikarp, Pokémon, Nintendo, Mount Fuji, Japanese wave, manga, blue, red, cream, square format, Contemporary, Unique work, 1/1
Ambient visual created by artificial intelligence to illustrate wall rendering (non-contractual).
