In this square format, Medsan places Son Goku, the hero of Dragon Ball, kneeling at the center of a plain of split red earth. One knee on the ground, the other leg folded in front of him, he presses his clenched fists against the ground, head lowered, eyelids nearly closed and brows furrowed: he is catching his breath after the fight.

His orange outfit is torn at the shoulder and on the flank, the navy blue undershirt shows beneath, the blue belt falls down along the thigh and the wristbands take back the same blue, up to the dark boots outlined in red. Behind him opens a vast golden ring in a dark red sky, with a white, burning sun in the top right; a few pale wisps of smoke rise from the plain.
