In this vertical format, Medsan places Pikachu in mid-leap at the center of a gold background. The little Pokémon is turned to the right, forepaws outstretched, snout raised, the eye round and the cheeks red, as if it had just jumped over the current. Its body is traversed by yellow, red and green plates that hug its form, and its lightning bolt of a tail extends downward to the left in a long jagged line that crosses half the scene.

Around it, two white and red koi swim in the upper part, one under a branch of pink flowers, the other near a paper lantern hanging, adorned with orange and green spirals. Ribbons of golden and silver water whirl behind it. At the bottom, red and green chrysanthemums, turquoise wave scales and other koi swim upstream in the middle of golden droplets. In the bottom right, the red cartouche メドサン. It resembles an evening festival along the riverbank.
