Description from the seller
Unique abstract large painting with total canvas size (with extra white borders) 120 x 105 x 01 cm. Work painted in 2026. The painting will be shipped rolled, without a stretcher. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is 110 x 95 x 2 cm.
In this work I let loose my deepest emotions, causing bold colours and strong brushstrokes to cross each other in a dynamic dance. From the chaos arises a sense of harmony. This gives a good feeling and relaxation. The work is painted with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. The paint is applied in expressive, diverse layers with a lot of dynamism on the canvas. The dynamism, expression, and freedom of the artist's artistic expression are clearly visible.
PLEASE NOTE: For buyers in the Netherlands who want to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible, by arrangement and for a fee, to have the canvas stretched onto the stretcher frame.
Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). This work fits well in a modern interior or office space.
Condition of the work is excellent, varnished, with a certificate of authenticity.
The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my head, the inner depleted energy, wants to erupt outward like a volcano, becoming an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces or an abstract composition. From the subconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint to the canvas, initially emerge unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition. As with the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality formation and its life. Often unplanned conceived, we are born, grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
