Paul Cupido - Okaa Samaa

The photo Okaa samaa by Paul Cupido (1972) from 2017 was published via Foam Editions in an edition of 100 copies. That was still before Cupido's international breakthrough. The photo is from the series Searching for Mu and in perfect condition (17/100). Searching for Mu was also the first photography book he released shortly after graduating Cum Laude from the photo academy in Amsterdam. The image is listed at 30 x 20 cm and the print itself is 26 x 17.5 cm.

Paul Cupido is a Dutch fine-art photographer, born in 1972 on Terschelling, known for his poetic and philosophically charged images. His work revolves around the Japanese concept “Mu,” which refers to a emptiness not seen as absence, but as potential; Cupido has since achieved international recognition.

He is internationally represented by Bildhalle Gallery (Zurich & Amsterdam), The Photographer's Gallery (London), and the Danziger Gallery (New York & Los Angeles).
