There are images that tell not only of an era. They instantly rekindle the feeling of being ten years old, a console in hand and a last part before turning it off.
GAME BOY MEMORIES plunges straight back into that memory. In the center, the Game Boy becomes almost a generational monument. Pikachu bursts out in an energy explosion, surrounded by Squirtle, a Poké Ball, a Pokémon cartridge, the Link cable, almost-dead batteries and those little objects that only those who lived that era look at with an immediate smile.
The “1996”, arcade tickets, pixelated screens, the “Press Start”, the “Wanna Play” and the scribbled annotations build a deliberate accumulation: that of a childhood made of games, exchanges, batteries that needed changing too quickly, and Pokémon to catch absolutely.
In this composition, SKE does not seek to reproduce a memory identically. He reconstructs it with his language: bold colors, rough drawing, street energy, signs, words and micro-references that overlay like the pages of a pop memory notebook.

- FRAMING TIPS

Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.

Upon receipt, carefully unroll it and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing.

ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or home decor stores.

Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and economical, they perfectly showcase the works.

SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile background who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meaning, marry the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then chosen as Revelation of the year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
