The Silent Chorus

The Silent Chorus is a work that explores the universal language of sign and expression. On an intensely yellow chromatic field, a network of thick, decisive black lines builds a tapestry of shapes that recall fragments of faces, smiles and stylized gestures. The curves and angles repeat and intertwine, creating a visual rhythm that suggests the presence of multiple voices.

These signs seem to dialogue with each other as in a silent conversation: each form is autonomous yet at the same time part of a larger system. The work thus becomes a kind of visual chorus, where individual “expressions” coexist in the same space without overwhelming each other, generating a balance between order and spontaneity.

In The Silent Chorus, the painting gesture transforms into language: an abstract alphabet capable of evoking human presence without representing it directly, inviting the viewer to recognize, among the signs, fragments of emotions and relationships.

The work is entirely handmade with acrylic and spray paint on 100% cotton canvas. Overall dimensions are 80x110, including the space reserved for the stretcher; the artwork’s visual surface measures 70x100 cm.

The finish is completed with a final protective varnish, which ensures its preservation over time.

The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, attesting to its originality and unique value.

The artwork will be shipped rolled inside a rigid protective tube, placed in sturdy cardboard packaging (dimensions 10x10 cm), to guarantee maximum security during transport and to protect it from shocks.
