Anonymous - Hurtu - 1970s

Charming advertisement manifesto for the famous French bicycle brand Hurtu (Diligeon & Cie). The Belle Époque–style illustration shows an elegant woman in dark historical attire, with a hat and puff sleeves, as she pedals along a winding road. At the top dominates the large inscription "HURTU" in stylized pink/red letters with a black outline. At the bottom are listed the historic Paris addresses: 54, Rue St. Maur and 33, Bd. Sébastopol. In small type, at the bottom right, the printer’s mark appears (Imp. Lemercier, Paris). For maximum transparency, it should be noted that there are a few small tears along the outer margins. Specifically, small cuts on the left and right side edges, and slight signs of wear on the lower and upper edges. None of these small tears touch the main graphics or the important text.
