Decorative chest in historicist style, late 19th–early 20th century, ca. 1880–1920. Wooden structure covered with repoussé and chased metal plates, decorated with genre scenes inspired by Flemish, framed by friezes of vegetal motifs. Hinged lid and wooden interior. Supported on small wheels.

Condition: shows signs of use and wear appropriate to its age, with scuffs, small dents and irregularities, oxidations and alterations of the patina, as well as stains and signs of use on the wooden interior. It preserves the attractive aged appearance typical of the piece.
