Magnificent vintage coffee/dessert service in white porcelain from the famous German manufacturer Rosenthal (stamped on the back).
Classic, timeless design of the iconic “Maria” collection, characterized by its octagonal shape and its delicate relief frieze on the borders.
Inventory details (33 pieces in total):
• 11 small dessert/bread plates (~ 19 cm)
• 9 coffee/tea cups
• 9 matching saucers
• 2 large round serving plates / presentation plates (~ 25 cm)
• 1 large octagonal compote dish / salad bowl on a foot
• 1 shallow octagonal plate / compote dish
Condition of the set:
Set composed of 30 pieces in excellent condition (lovely shine, no chips or major scratches), accompanied by 3 pieces with signs of use:
• 1 large round plate shows a through crack.
• 1 cup shows an internal hairline crack.
• 1 octagonal salad bowl shows a small chip on the upper edge of the frieze.
