Biography

I am an educational artist with formal training in monumental and decorative painting. From 1998 to 2005 I studied at the State Art Academy in Tbilisi, Georgia.

My artistic work mainly encompasses oil painting. I engage with different themes and expressive forms, with emotions, human relationships, memories, and inner experiences playing a significant role in my works. I work both alla prima and with layered painting techniques and glazes.

My works have been exhibited in several countries, including Italy, Greece, Spain, and the USA.

Today I live and work in Germany and continue my artistic practice. In my art I combine my academic training with personal experiences and an individual, emotional visual language.

This original contemporary oil painting titled “Dreams of the Wedding” presents a poetic and mysterious composition of two female figures.

At the center is the portrait of a young woman, surrounded by a dreamlike atmosphere of translucent fabrics and numerous flowers. The floral elements connect the figures and create a multilayered visual world full of emotions, memories, and longing.

A second female figure appears in the background like a memory, a dream, or a vision. The combination of figurative painting, fine details, and expressive, decorative elements gives the work an individual and personal visual language.
