At the center of her work are expressive, often strongly cropped portraits and figures. Strong contours, deliberately unnatural skin tones, intense color contrasts, and free, partly abstract spaces meet unusual perspectives and an immediate, gestural painting approach. Laurena is more interested in the presence, posture, and emotional tension of a person than in a classical likeness.
In 2026 her works were shown among others at Trauner KUNST Stücken as well as in a charity art exhibition at Lokschuppen Klaus. Further works were presented in the Gmunden area in 2026; for October 2026, a group exhibition at OKH Vöcklabruck is also planned. Several original works are already in private collections.
Besides her free artistic activity, Laurena works professionally in the field of graphics and visual communication. Under dila.vin studio she continuously develops her figurative-expressive visual language and increasingly focuses on large-format works with a strong spatial presence.
