The series Architecture of the Forest explores the tree as a structural element of the landscape. Beyond its naturalistic representation, trunks, canopies and clearings are organized as an organic architecture that defines the space, directs the gaze and builds the visual rhythm of each composition. The forest ceases to be a background to become the true protagonist of the work.
The compositions develop through the layering of planes, verticals and blocks of color that create depth and atmosphere.
