【Description】

Oris's Pointer Date displays the date from 1 to 31 printed around the outer edge of the dial, indicated by a dedicated hand with a red crescent tip. There is no date window; the date is read from the position of the hand, and this layout defines the character of the watch.

The black dial is combined with Arabic numeral indices and hands treated with luminous material, giving a layout that prioritizes legibility. In addition to the central hour and minute hands, a seconds hand and the red pointer date hand are in motion, creating a contrast of white and red against the black surface.

The crystal is domed, and depending on the viewing angle the date scale around the edge appears gently distorted. The case is stainless steel, and with a case width of 32mm it is a restrained size that does not dominate the wrist and fits easily under a shirt cuff.

The case back is a display back. The movement of the automatic Cal.654, fitted with a gold-coloured dedicated rotor, can be viewed directly whenever the watch is taken off.

The bracelet is a genuine stainless steel bracelet made up of five rows of links. The fastening is a folding clasp engraved with ORIS, which opens and closes in one action.

The black dial is in good condition. The hands and indices show no chips or discolouration. The red paint on the pointer date hand remains intact.
