Dial and Hands
Even, fine spotting across the entire dial surface creates an attractive stardust patina that is perfectly consistent with the age of the watch. The dial features the desirable applied gold-tone 'S' logo, Arabic numerals at 12 and 6, and baton indices. All printing remains crisp and highly legible. The original gold-tone dauphine hands show minor oxidation and spotting on their surfaces, displaying age-appropriate wear that matches the character of the dial.

Case and Crystal
The case features a 14K gold-filled front and a stainless steel back, complemented by a smooth gold-tone bezel. It displays honest vintage wear, with moderate scratches and handling marks throughout the case and bezel surfaces. The lugs show some softening of their edges from use, and plating wear with tarnish is visible on the reverse case edges near the caseback. The unsigned ribbed crown shows visible plating wear on its outer edge. The stainless steel caseback is distinguished by a 1957 presentation engraving from the President of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone. The domed acrylic crystal remains clear, with no major scratches, cracks, or crazing visible.

Movement
The manual winding movement is engraved with "SEIKOSHA", "17 JEWELS", and "F - S". The caliber is generally clean, showing minor surface scratches on the plates but no severe corrosion or damage visible. Recording +10+12s/day on the timegrapher, it is exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.

Strap
The watch is fitted with a black leather strap featuring white contrast stitching. This modern strap is in excellent condition and appears unworn or very lightly used.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The dial presents a beautiful and even stardust patina, while the hands show natural oxidation. The gold-filled case displays honest vintage wear, including moderate scratches, softened lugs, plating degradation on the reverse edges, and wear to the crown. The crystal is well-preserved. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly.
