Greek-Orthodox icon on a rectangular wooden panel, subdivided into four arched panels on a gold ground. Depicted are, from top left to bottom right:

• Christ Pantokrator (Ϊ Ϲ Χ Ϲ), blessed with the right hand and a closed Gospel book in the left hand, flanked by small medallions with saintly figures.
• Panagia Glykofilousa (“the loving Mother of God”, Μ Ρ Θ Υ), the Mother of God cradling the Christ Child lovingly against her cheek.
• Saint George (Saint George) on horseback, piercing the dragon with his spear, inscribed Ο ΑΓ. ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ.
• Saint Demetrius of Thessaloniki on horseback on a chestnut horse, also depicted in warrior gear, with a city silhouette in the background.
