Original manifesto created for the exhibition "Antonio Ligabue – A Life as an Artist", held at the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara from October 31, 2020 to April 5, 2021.
The graphic reproduces one of Antonio Ligabue's most famous subjects, the spectacular Roaring Tiger, a symbolic image of his artistic production and of the expressive power that made the painter one of the protagonists of Italian art in the 20th century.
The exhibition, organized by Ferrara Arte in collaboration with the Municipality of Ferrara, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Ferrara (GAMC) and the Fondazione Archivio Antonio Ligabue, retraced the artist's entire life and artistic journey through an important selection of paintings, sculptures, engravings and documents.
This is the original manifesto distributed for the occasion of the exhibition, printed in 2020 for the official promotion of the event.
