A deep, full petrol blue occupies the entire surface, lighter and more airy in the upper part, denser and velvet-like toward the bottom. On this background a band of poppies lights up: vivid reds, garnet and dark almost black, carried by slender stems that descend with lightness. Small coral touches also spread into the more open areas, like heat points scattered in the azure. The material is worked with minute touches, giving the surface a continuous vibration and an almost aquatic depth. The contrast between red and blue is sharp and immediate, capable of catching the eye. An intense and elegant work, where the bloom emerges from the depths with calm certainty.
