Vintage King Silver-Sonic Bb cornet with a silver cup with a gold wash - H.N. White, Cleveland, Ohio.

This model features a micro-rotating valve mechanism on the main valve slide. The engraving on the cup reads: "King Silver-Sonic Made by The H.N. White Co. Cleveland Ohio."

The silver cup gives the Silversonic models their classic tone. This instrument is no exception and possesses the extremely rich sound and exceptional overtones for which the Silversonic series is known. This cornet sounds exceptionally brilliant in the high register and plays smoothly across the entire range. The response is excellent. This is probably one of the finest instruments King has ever produced.

The instrument is delivered in the original, fully functional case. The cornet shows some signs of use appropriate to its age (see photos). Valves operate smoothly and all slides come apart. (see photos)
