Description from the seller
A deep, uniform ultramarine blue covers the entire surface, worked with minute touches that give it a soft, continuous vibration. In the center gathers a bloom of red and garnet poppies, dense and earthy, radiating outward and thinning into small suspended dots. A few stems barely hinted at descend downward, very light, almost a shadow on the bottom. The composition is essential, entirely built on the relationship between the breadth of blue and the luminous concentration of red. The contrast is sharp but calm, and holds the gaze at the center of the work. An intense and refined image, where a few elements are enough to create a strong presence.
Signed and dated 2026 at the bottom right
Image dimensions: 95 x 65 cm
Overall canvas size: 105 x 75 cm
The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube.

Parfen D. is a contemporary artist who transforms painting into a poetic gesture, capable of revealing the intimate connection between human beings and nature. His work stands out for its ability to quietly evoke universal emotions through a refined and minimalist visual poetics. He does not aim to depict nature realistically, but to hint at its essence: fragility, lightness, and a deep connection with our inner world. Each brushstroke is a meditative act, an invitation to slow down, to immerse oneself in a universe of vibrant silence. The colors, which often dominate his works, are not mere tones but true protagonists, charged with memory and meaning. His canvases do not impose a narrative, but offer spaces of contemplation where one can find their own story.
