Vessel - Porcelain - 1990-2000

This is a rare Kangxi blue-and-white porcelain jar, dating from the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty (1654-1722). The background motif of the jar is the Eight Immortals of China. This piece is exquisitely crafted, with delicate painting, a unique shape, and meticulous workmanship. The figures are lifelike, and the blue-and-white glaze blends perfectly with the shape, making it highly collectible. The bottom is inscribed with six characters: "Made in the Kangxi Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty," in remarkably fine script. Due to the extreme rarity of Kangxi-era porcelain, this piece is even more valuable to collectors.
