Striking antique Neo-Gothic religious travel triptych, featuring the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in finely cast, heavy solid brass
The central relief shows Christ rising triumphantly from the tomb with the victory cross, surrounded by angels and startled Roman soldiers. The folding side panels depict richly detailed mitred bishops or saints holding croziers.
A beautifully crafted devotional object with substantial weight, thick construction and excellent relief detail. The reverse retains its dark cast finish and features an integrated hanging ring, allowing the triptych to be displayed open as a small wall shrine.
An impressive and highly decorative example of Gothic Revival religious art.
