About the work:
This painting invites us to look into our inner selves, into our own black hole where our deepest wishes are kept hidden. We hide them from ourselves, as if we are scared to admit they exist.
These wishes have their own charm; they are fascinating and pleasant, like soft velvet. But they also remain secret, bringing with them a quiet sense of melancholy.
