Description from the seller
The Language of the Tide from the Marinas Series
Unique Work
The Marinas series explores the sea as a landscape in constant transformation, where water, light, and the horizon create open spaces marked by movement and contemplation. Coasts, beaches, cliffs, and expanses of water appear reinterpreted from a pictorial perspective that moves away from literal representation.
The compositions are built through fluid planes and visible brushstrokes that follow the natural rhythm of the water. The movement of the waves, the reflections, and the variations of the horizon generate visual journeys that convey the changing sensation of the marine landscape.
Color occupies an essential place in the series. Blues, turquoise, and greens converse with sands, earth tones, and warm hues to build depth, luminosity, and contrast. Light continually transforms the surfaces and turns each scene into a particular interpretation of the sea’s atmosphere.
In Marinas, the coastal landscape becomes a space of calm and movement, where memory and perception transform the territory. Each work seeks to capture not a specific place, but the experience of standing before the sea: its breadth, its rhythm, its light, and its perpetual transformation.
Authenticity of the work:
Each piece is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, guaranteeing its authenticity and preserving the visual purity of the painted surface. The signature includes the title of the work, the year of creation, and Ella Suárez’s signature. The piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), which vouches for its origin and authorship.
Important note:
Reference images may show slight tonal variations from the original work due to lighting in the spaces, which can affect contrast or color temperature, as well as differences between viewing devices. The photographs have been made with the greatest possible care.
Shipping details:
The artwork will be sent rolled in a protective tube, a method that ensures its safety during transit and offers a more economical and sustainable option. The canvas includes an additional 5 cm margin on each side to facilitate re-stretching, which can be carried out by the purchaser or a professional."
