Description from the seller
Hieroglyphs of the Sun
“Hieroglyphs of the Sun” is an expressive abstract composition inspired by the mysterious visual language of Ancient Egypt and the timeless imagery found upon the walls of temples and pyramids. Layers of vibrant ochres, golden yellows, fiery oranges, deep reds, earthy browns and touches of blue, turquoise and black evoke the warmth of the desert, the power of the sun and the ancient world of the pharaohs.
Through energetic brushstrokes, scraped textures and overlapping forms, the painting suggests fragments of forgotten symbols, figures and ceremonial scenes without revealing them completely. The composition invites the viewer to search within its layers, as if uncovering an ancient story hidden beneath centuries of time.
Rich in movement, texture and color, “Hieroglyphs of the Sun” creates a dialogue between the ancient and the contemporary — a modern abstract interpretation of a civilization surrounded by mystery, spirituality and enduring beauty.
