Hanging lamp - Murano glass

Fascinating small vintage Mid-Century style pendant lamp, dating from the 60s/70s. The diffuser is made of refined, thick-blown art glass, featuring a delicate ribbed/grooved work in a dome shape. The upper part of the glass presents a magnificent amber-and-gold hue, enriched by a finely granulated internal texture that diffuses the light in a warm and evocative way. The lower part fades into a transparent, clean glass. The mounting is in gilded metal, complete with a coordinated chain of linked links for ceiling suspension.
