Antique wooden plant table dating to circa 1960–1970, with a square top, four tall legs and a lower shelf, in good used condition.

Antique wooden plant stand – slim tall version with lower shelf
Atmospheric and elegant wooden plant stand with a particularly slender silhouette, warm reddish-brown wood color and a practical lower shelf. Because of its tall, slim form this is exactly the type of furniture that used to be used to give a plant, jardinière, vase or other decorative object extra height and attention.
This example has a square top panel with a rounded/profiled edge, four long legs, and a handsome lower shelf framed on the sides by thin vertical slats. The construction looks light and open, so the table despite its height does not feel heavy.
Particularly beautiful is the warm reddish-brown finish, in which the wood grain remains visible. The plant stand thus integrates well with both classical and country, vintage, Arts & Crafts and Eclectic interiors.
