Helré Pottery – Vallauris – Enameled ceramic vase with a raised-relief decorative motif – 1950s–1960s.
A beautiful piece with a particularly graphic design, characteristic of French creations from the 1950s–1960s.
The vase features a light speckled glaze paired with a wide dark brown-red band, decorated with geometric relief motifs.
The form is balanced, with a rounded body and a tapered neck.
The decoration is present around the entire circumference.
Signature “Helré” incised under the base, perfectly visible.
Helré pottery from Vallauris is notably associated with ceramist René Cougnon.
