Description from the seller
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: __I ship only to select destinations - Read the shipping prices carefully.
"THE HUG"
It is a simple gesture that comes from within, a welcome to oneself, as a symbol of balance, care and wholeness. A gesture that contains everything, even when the world seems distant.
Every single creation is a unique piece handmade with delicacy and feeling. The sculpture was shaped in clay and fired in a professional kiln, subsequently patinated cold. In the porosity and imperfections of the terracotta and the pigments used lies the beauty of this material.
Shipping will be carried out carefully. All works are hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Techniques:
Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass
Nicole Furlan, born in 1991, attended art and photography academy. Always seeking inspiration to grow.
Raised in the Tuscan countryside, she rediscovers in small things the charm of simplicity and reimagines them through matter, thus enabling an open dialogue with her own subconscious.
For several years she had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small borgo of Etruscan origins.
A new, delicate formula of deep connections.
In 2020 she decides to return to living in open countryside, so as to focus even more on the self and on what she wants to express.
