Mara J XXL presents Garnet Canopy, an original acrylic painting on canvas (image 150 × 55 cm; overall 160 × 65 cm), signed and dated 2026, depicting a landscape and produced in Italy, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
The color descends vertically like a long descent: a light pink, almost powdery, gradually thickens into a rich pink and then into a deep wine red, compact, occupying the entire lower part. At the top, the leaves are imprinted in ivory and pale gold, extremely light, layered in short strata that allow the background to breathe. As it goes down, the imprints become sparser and change temperature: greenish waters and turquoises emerge from the red like a fresh and unexpected note. Thin vertical stems run the full height, uniting the two ends of the composition. The surface is granular, built up, and traps light on the edges of each leaf. A warm density, read in a single breath.

Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid and suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being interweave in a deep dialogue.
