Stunning marble chess set. Originating from Italy and made in the middle of the last century.

The chessboard features a frame of anthracite-colored marble and a gold-colored line. The playing surface is inlaid with anthracite- and cream-colored marble. The pieces are also marble and hand-crafted.

The chessboard measures 25x25 cm and is 1 cm high. The chess pieces vary in size from 3 cm (pawn) to 4 cm (king). The total weight of the board and the chess pieces is about 2300 grams.

Schitterend schaakspel van marmer. Afkomstig uit Italië en vervaardigd in het midden van de vorige eeuw.

Het schaakbord heeft een omlijsting van antracietkleurig marmer en een goudkleurige lijn. Het speelveld is opgebouwd uit ingelegd antractiet- en crèmekleurig marmer. De stukken zijn eveneens van marmer en met de hand vervaardigd.

Het schaakbord is 25x25cm groot en 1cm hoog. De schaakstukken variëren in grootte van 3cm (pion) tot 4cm (koning). Het totale gewicht van het bord en de schaakstukken bedraagt zo'n 2300 gram.
