Mara. J XL presents Malachite Thicket, an original 2026 acrylic landscape painting signed on the lower right, image 95 × 75 cm (canvas 105 × 85 cm), produced in Italy and sold directly by the artist, without a frame.
Description from the seller
Green rises from the bottom like a slow tide: at the bottom it thickens until it becomes almost night, then lightens as it ascends, until a suspension of mint and silver. The leaves are pressed one atop another in short, granular layers, which allow the texture of the canvas to surface and hold the light at the edges. Thin violet stems cross the vegetation from bottom to top, the only cool note in a surface calibrated entirely to greens. Here and there golden specks illuminate among the leaves, tiny and distributed without any apparent order, as if light were filtering intermittently. It is an image of quiet growth, where density does not weigh but breathes.
Signed and dated 2026 on the bottom right
Image dimensions: 95 x 75 cm
Total canvas size: 105 x 85 cm
The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube.
The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively on request, in digital format.
Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid, suspended atmospheres, where color and brightness shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
