This hand-blown gourd is of tall shape with a wide rounded base and ribbed body narrowing to the top and applied with a trailing green glass stem attached with clear glass with gold aventrine inclusions.

The body of the gourd is made in cased white glass with green patterning with the base recessed and polished. The gourd is not marked, and bears a recessed polished pontil.
