Description from the seller
Murano glass bowl on a silver-plated mount – Italian craftsmanship
Stunning decorative Murano glass bowl, blown glass, made according to the traditional techniques of the master glassmakers of the island of Murano in Italy. This piece captivates with its elegantly dynamic form with broad undulations and its marbled cobalt blue and opal white decor, offering beautiful plays of light.
The bowl rests on an elegant silver-plated mount richly ornamented with Rocaille and botanical motifs, giving it a refined and timeless style. The original label “Murano – Made in Italy” is still attached, certifying its origin.
This piece can be used as a trinket dish, decorative bowl, or centerpiece, and makes a beautiful decorative object for both classic and contemporary settings.
Condition:
Very good overall condition. No chips or cracks observed. There is a small manufacturing bubble along the rim of the glass, characteristic of artisanal work and with no impact on the piece’s solidity or overall aesthetics (visible in the photo).
