I create paintings using acrylic paints and thousands of small pieces of recycled paper: everyday paper becomes art instead of ending up in the trash. In my latest works I have focused on the theme of women treated as objects (dolls) and too often victims of violence, and these are the latest pieces I have created.

This piece is the first one made for the series "Adults should love".

The work has a very strong visual and emotional impact. The title "Adults should love" sounds almost like a critique of what is often missing in more mature relational dynamics.

The expression of the woman at the center of the composition conveys a sense of vulnerability, abandonment, capturing a moment of intense emotional rawness. The material technique amplifies this message: the use of recycled paper reduced to fragments, together with acrylics, creates a mosaic of experiences where every small piece of paper represents a fragment of life, a memory or a scar that makes up the adult identity.

By placing this work in the thread of giving voice to women and raising awareness against abuse, the title takes on an even more powerful connotation. "Adults should love" becomes a manifesto against toxicity: it reminds us that adult love, the true one, should be based on care, respect and genuine affection, moving away from dynamics of domination or violence. The face emerging from this chaotic and fragmented texture seems to insist on the right to healthy love.
It is a work of great conceptual depth.

Each piece is safely packaged, wrapped and protected for shipping and will arrive in a completely secure package, including the Certificate of Authenticity.
I use the courier provided directly by Catawiki.

This piece will be shipped unframed and without a canvas since the work will be shipped rolled. The canvas is larger than the painted dimensions because the larger surface will be useful and necessary to stretch the canvas on a frame.

Born in 1974 I am self-taught.

After an initial period devoted to sculpture there was a prolonged stop of almost twenty years. Since December 2014 I resumed with the "two dimensions" for reasons of time and space, neglecting sculpture and dedicating myself to acrylic paintings.
I love painting abstract landscapes but recently I am also pushing myself to paint faces of people both imaginary and real.

For me painting is "freezing time" in that exact moment; my painting is often a faded memory and therefore my works are "worn, eroded by time". Sometimes the subjects of my paintings are alleyways of walls also eroded by time, with moss and mushrooms that—in time—grow on the surface.
Time that passes inexorably is the main theme of my works.

Coming from a wonderful experience with clay manipulation, I love sculpture, the third dimension, the sense of touch and my paintings are often characterized by reliefs perceptible to the touch and to the naked eye.

In this recent period, after several years in which my works were made from pieces of recycled paper forming figures, I am pushing myself to explore Optical Art where I use painted wooden discs arranged in lines and repeated grids with mathematical rigor that up close seem to form an abstract colorful painting but the more you move away the more a portrait emerges from the 768 painted wooden discs.

Violence against women is a theme that characterizes almost all my works when I reproduce women's faces, precisely to give them a voice when they do not have the strength or courage to report that they are not dolls of their partners and they cannot be mistreated or, worse, victims of violence.
