The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work. The measurements may vary slightly.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters by a hollow portion. I consider this work a vindication of the Self against the perils of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter becoming spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of form to the summit is characterized as an assembly of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
