Light Makers - Table lamp (2) - Brass, Steel, Leather - Empire Style

Stylish and decorative set of two matching Empire-style table lamps, finished in a warm bronze/gold-toned coating and equipped with luxurious black lamp shades.

The lamp bases feature a classical architectural design with a square, stepped foot, a tall slender column, and elegant metal decorative rings at both the top and bottom. The combination of straight geometric lines and classic ornamentation gives the lamps the stately look characteristic of the Empire and Neoclassical styles.

Particularly beautiful are the black luxury lamp shades. They have a subtle relief with a leather/reptile-like texture, giving the surface a beautiful sheen depending on the light. The warm gold-colored interior of the shades produces a cozy, warm light when the lamps are lit.

Because of their identical construction, the lamps form a very decorative pair. They look especially striking as a symmetrical set on two side tables, nightstands, a sideboard, or on either side of a sofa or bed. They also suit classic, Hollywood Regency, eclectic, or hotel-chic interiors as attractive focal points.

The combination of the warm bronze/gold-tone frame with the deep black shades gives the whole a elegant and luxurious look without being ostentatious.

Technical data and execution

The lamps are fitted with an electrical socket marked Light Makers, 220–240 V, up to 40 W. Both lamps are shown in working condition in the photographs. The light sources are primarily for demonstration where applicable and can be omitted during shipment to prevent damage.

The lamps and shades are in good used condition, with normal light signs of wear and aging appropriate for decorative objects that have already been used. On the metal parts there may be some patina, discoloration, or superficial signs of use in places. In my opinion this does not detract from the decorative appearance. Please examine the close-up photos carefully; they form an important part of the description and provide a good view of the condition.
